Pictures communicate ideas better than words.

Design does not need to be flashy or animated. Simple, lines and minimal colors can communicate everything that needs to be said.

Pictures no longer need to be limited to comic books and a handful of illustrations in "real" books. Pictures can tell complex stories and communicate complicated ideas. Pictures tap directly into something deep in our brains.

One does not need to be educated to understand a well-crafted picture.

This blog seeks to prove and explore this idea. It will use simple designs and pictures with few words to communicate ideas on a broad range of subjects.

I will move beyond the grapheme to communicate deep truths and complicated ideas with simple, crafted pictures.

(And yes, I see the irony in me using words to write this manifesto. Time is also a concern and I want to get this written quickly so I have more time to create designs.)

Simplified Cycle of Creation

As an epilogue to the previous two posts. I love this simplified shape showing the cycle of birth and death and re-birth. The smaller bottom circle is the learning a soul does while on the physical plane; the constant ebbing and flowing of desire and consequences that make of the karma of that soul's physical life. The top smaller circle is the learning and experiencing the soul does after it has left the physical plane. And the larger circle encompasses the movement between the spheres of light and the physical realm. I love the beauty and simplicity of this. I love that one simply experiences and learns wherever one may find their soul. There is no line here, nothing to achieve, no race to win. It is simply learning, experiencing and growing closer to god/source/light.

My Creation Story, Part 2

I decided to be reborn. I was ready to put everything I had been learning to the test. I was ready to experience life on the physical plane again. I knew I would have a team of spirit guides and guardian angels to help me through my life on the physical plane. I also knew I often forgot these benevolent spirits once I became an adult. I knew learning to work with my guides while on the physical plane would be part of my learning path for this life.

Just as the non-physical planes are dense with angels and the souls of a multitude of types, the physical plane also is dense with benevolent beings. My ancestors are there to help me, other angels aid when they can, even other humans help me along my path, and this is not even identifying the millions of animals, plants, and insects that share life here.

Once my childhood is over, patterns will be set that will effect the rest of my life. I harden a bit and lose some of my connection to my spirit guides and the benevolent beings available to help at any time. I enter into the physical world cycle that will determine what I end up learning. I will have desire and then a choice to make. And for every choice there is a consequence. At some point I will reflect on the choice I made and the consequence that followed. This cycle will happen a hundred times a day and millions of times over the course of my physical life.

Each choice I make will carry the seed of a desire to come. In this lifetime, I will make positive choices that bring me closer to my source and light. I will mature spiritually. I will work closely with my spirit guides and guardian angels. My experience of the physical plane expands beyond what I see and I am able to work with many other light beings.

The hardening that happened in my early adult years dissolves and I become open to universe, to source and to love like I was as a child. The spirit of light fills my days and enlightens my dreams at night. Eventually my life on the physical plane again comes to end. The cells in my physical body deteriorate beyond repair and death comes for me once again. I smile as I enter the great cycle of death and rebirth yet again. I am excited for what I will learn and to be once again in the direct presence of the great beings of light. And I live happily ever after...

My Creation Story, Part 1

In a beginning, I died. I left my physical body and moved into the spirit realms.

In the spirit realm, a team of kindly souls and angels were there to help me transition from the physical world of matter and illusion into pure thought, light and love.

The change was difficult for me at first, but as I let go of my earthly expectations, I realized I had entered a kind of heaven. After a time, I had become settled enough to experience more and spent time reviewing the life on earth I had just left. Some of this review was very painful. I could clearly see how I had misunderstood my earthly life and how this ignorance hurt other people, especially the ones I loved. After a while and with help from those attending me, I accepted my past life. I was then ready to enter the cycle of "living" that takes place in the heavenly realms. I was able to commune with higher beings whose light shined so gloriously I could not remain in their presence for long. I was an audience to these higher beings as often as possible because I was filled with such love and warmth. I had significant time to myself to reflect on everything I had been experiencing. And I had time to share with other beings that were in the same sphere as I was. This time of reflecting and sharing brought with it remembering. I remembered all the previous lives I had lived and could discern the path my spirit had taken. Slowly, I began to understand and remember everything. I understood why I chose my most recent life and why I made the decisions I had. This was wonderful and wonderful to share with all those surrounding me.

As my remembering deepened, I realized first that the realm I was currently in was only one of an infinite number of spheres or realms. The higher beings resided in a sphere much higher than my own with a much greater density of light. There were hundreds of realms between mine and the highest beings, each with a minute greater amount of light. Laterally, there were millions of spheres for beings with common interests. There was a medicine sphere for doctors and surgeons, a dancing sphere, a painting sphere, an animal sphere, and on and on it went. And suddenly I remembered how densely populated this realm is. All the beings that ever lived and that will ever live reside here. There are angels, the great Arch Angels, Ascendant Masters like Mohammad, Buddha, and Jesus, fairies, aliens, crystal spirits and animal spirits. And I know that this list is limited by my understanding. I feel there are hundreds of different kinds of beings through these realms. The pure density and pulsing of this living spirit is a joyful chorus.

I don't know how long I listened to and participated in this beautiful chorus. It could have been centuries in "physical" time. I just know at some point I realized there were things I needed to experience that could only happen at the lower frequencies of the physical plane. I needed to be reborn. I then set out to choose who my parents would be and what life situation would provide me with the greatest opportunity to grow and expand. With these choices researched and made, I was born again.
