Expand or Die

I intend to build a business and I had an epiphany about it yesterday.

I need to dramatically change my life and these graphics show how drastic these changes will need to be.

My current experience is extremely narrow, isolated and lacking in passion.

My epiphany was what my experience needed to look like for me to achieve my goal of a successful business and wealth. After reading, Success Built to Last, I realized that people with enduring success built their lives around their passion. And this passion drives their relationships, intentions and success.

The two areas that dramatically need to change are who I know and how I spend my extra time.

Here is an example of how my friends and acquaintances need to expand. The book, Never Eat Alone, dramatically expanded my ideas around networking and business relationships. The most important thing I learned was that it was common to simply ask for help.

And here is an example of how my free time must change to enable me to build the knowledge base and relationships to create a successful business.

Success Built to Last, was written by Jerry Porras, Stewart Emery, Mark Thompson, and published by Plume in 2007.

Never Eat Alone, was written by Keith Ferrazzi and Tahl Raz, and published by Broadway Business in 2005.
